Cooking and wine workshops

Would you like to know more about the treasures of Italian gastronomy?

Take part in our cooking workshops where our guest chefs will share their know-how and recipes with you in Italian, French or English.

In a friendly atmosphere, discover the preparation of an Italian recipe that you will enjoy together with an accompanying wine.

For the spring session from May 5th, to June 16th , 2025, we offer 1 cooking workshops and 1 cocktail workshop.

Alongside her university career, Italian language and culture teacher Valentina Pancaldi worked for twelve years as a mixologist and bar manager in cocktail bars in Rome and Paris. This experience enabled her to specialize in the history of cocktails, their legend, recipe development and preparation techniques. She has also obtained several Master’s degrees in mixology, awarded by AIBES and other recognized bodies.

Davide Bazzali studied at the Salsomaggiore Hotel School and began his career as a chef at the age of 19. He studied singing and theater, working with various music groups and theater companies in Italy and Canada. The concept of Opera cuisine grew naturally out of this dual passion for opera singing and good food. He recently opened an Il Bazzali restaurant in Montreal.
