Alongside her university career, Italian language and culture teacher Valentina Pancaldi worked for twelve years as a mixologist and bar manager in cocktail bars in Rome and Paris. This experience enabled her to specialize in the history of cocktails, their legend, recipe development and preparation techniques. She has also obtained several Master’s degrees in mixology, awarded by AIBES and other recognized bodies.
