‘Vivo d’arte’, a contest for young Italian artists living abroad

An annual award is established by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to promote and support the creativity and the talent of young Italian artists who reside permanently abroad. The purpose is to provide visibility tools and to foster the collaboration between Italian artists and the cultural scene of the country of residence, by favouring the production of new works on the theme of contamination and dialogue between different cultures and which involve the participation of local artists.

The contest ‘Vivo d’arte‘ is reserved to young artists under 36 years old and it consists of two different sections: one is dedicated to performing arts (music, theatre, contemporary dance), the other to visual arts (figurative arts, sculpture, art videos), respectively in collaboration with the Fondazione Romaeuropa and the Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna.

The deadline to submit applicant projects is on March 31st, 2020.
