The documentary takes its title from a project created for the inmates of the Volterra prison: once a month, an ever-changing starred chef is called to guide the thirty inmates working in the kitchen, to prepare a gourmet dinner. The meal is then served to external guests and the proceeds from the dinner are donated to the solidarity project of the foundation “Il cuore si scioglie”. In short, a project that aims to promote the reintegration of prisoners into society once they are free and to make the prison environment more humane.
