Artists for Plants and the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal are pleased to present The Creativity of Plants, a digital gallery born from the 2025 International Open Call for Artists.
Created in collaboration with the Forget for a Moment Foundation / Fondation Oublie pour un Instant —a Canadian foundation active since 2012 that promotes the integration of nature into healthcare environments, with the aim of improving psychophysical well-being, reducing isolation, and fostering healing, joy, and connection among patients, families, and healthcare staff—the 2025 Call invited artists from around the world to reflect on what the plant world can teach us in terms of creativity, survival strategies, and healing power.
The digital gallery, curated by filmmaker Silvia Chiodin, features 31 works from 21 countries, selected by an international jury from 100 submissions.
As part of the event, the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal will host Italian violinist and composer Sara Michieletto, co-founder of Artists for Plants, in concert.

The works presented in the digital gallery, conceived and organized by Artists for Plants, invite visitors to explore and reflect on the extraordinary qualities of the plant world—resilience, intelligence, adaptability, and continuity—highlighting their essential value for the future of the planet.
