As part of the festival “Suoni per il Popolo“, supported by the Italian Culture Institute of Montreal, Silvia Tarozzi (violinist) and Deborah Walker (cellist) will perform two concerts along with the Ensemble Dedalus and the Quator Bozzini.

Silvia Tarozzi (violin) and Deborah Walker (cello), now Italian, are two artists deeply involved in the field of contemporary experimental music and free improvisation. The Duo Tarozzi – Walker regurarly perform in international concert halls and festivals. Some important compositions were dedicate to them, such as Occam River II by Elian Radigue, Bothsways by Pascale Criton, Two Extremeizms by Philip Corner and Duet for Silvia and Deborah by Tim Parkinson.
“Suoni per il popolo” is a music festival based on the community featuring both local and international musicians performing in a variety of styles such as Free Jazz, Improv, Avant Rock, Noise, Avant Fold and Twentieth Century Classical.
