There is one thing we humans apparently cannot do without: family. After all, what is more beautiful than family? And yet, what is more demanding than family—with its immeasurable burden of love that crushes every personal ambition, every yearning for freedom and peace? This film is dedicated to family—and thus to love: that force that drives us to do things we never thought possible, turning us simultaneously into industrious little ants and epic heroes and heroines. (Gianni Di Gregorio)
