Round about Trane is a bridge between tradition and innovation, between spiritual approach and advanced technique, a contemporary exploration which moves from the techniques and original compositions of John Coltrane, following his magical influence. Four young musicians from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin (Italy), bring us on a journey through time and music blending compositional and improvisational techniques. With Mattia Basilico tenor sax, Gianluca Palazzo guitar, Gianmaria Ferrario double bass, Lorenzo De Marchi drums, representatives of the INTERNATIONAL ROUTES: ARTS CREATING FUTURE project.
