The 37th edition of the Carrefour mondial de l’accordéon de Montmagny invites you from September 4th to September 6th, to reconnect with musicians from Quebec, Canada and more than 8 countries including Italy. These three days of music offer an intense experience, punctuated by more than 30 activities.
A leading figure in the revival of traditional Italian music, Roberto Lucanero is an accordionist, ethnomusicologist, composer, and educator. Originally from the Marche region of Italy, he has devoted much of his career and research to preserving and promoting Italy’s musical heritage, a subject he explored through his ethnomusicology studies at the University of Bologna.
