Ma ci ritroviamo. Ma ci ritroveremo. Ma ci riconosceremo

In these days of profound sadness, our thoughts and feelings are addressed to the many Italian families who have already suffered the loss of their loved ones, to the thousands of suffering people who struggle for their life in hospitals, to the many doctors, nurses and health workers who act heroically in the service of the state, a state which reveals its ancient nature and ethical vocation. A state that takes care of its citizens, as it would of the family of their offspring.

This is the humanism of our civilization, this is the example of our daily culture. “We are all nameless. We are all figureless. And if we are in the shadows and if we are in the night, and if we are in the thick hour before dawn, we cannot call each other by name, nor peer into our faces. But we find ourselves, we will find ourselves again, we will recognize each other.
