The carabinieri of the Cultural Heritage Protection Unit of Monza, together with the Metropolitan Police of London, have recovered a collection of ancient books, worth over 2 million euros, stolen in January 2017 from the English city of Feltham, near London.
The collection, owned by two Italian collectors and a German, was ready to be transferred to the United States for the prestigious 50th edition International Antiques Book Fair, scheduled in San Francisco.
