Radio Lausberg is a music band from the Lucan-Calabrian area named “Lausberg Area” in 1939 after the renowned german linguist Heinrich Lausberg (1912-1992), which studied the variety of dialects in the region. This area is characterized by highly conservative local dialects. Geographically, the area corresponds to the region in between Tyrrhenian Sea and Ionic Sea, with the Mount Pollino in the middle. The Radio Lausberg members are Giuseppe Oliveto (vocalist, multi-instrumentalist), Luca Oliveto (piano, vocalist, knocker), Enzo Peluso (classical and acoustic guitar, bouzouki), Carmelo Ciminelli (accordion, piper), Corrado Aloise (drum, percussions), Pasquale Ferrara (bass, double bass). Radio Lausberg, whose name comes from its own cultural roots, aims to promote the linguistic and traditional music heritage of the region. In 2016 they released their first album “KuntaminataStoria“, in 2018 “Terre di mezzo“, produced by Erriquez of Bandabardo’ (Vrec Music label).

The Scuola di Teatro “Giovanni Grasso” directed by Valerio Garaffa, Chiara Cimmino and Marco Piana, has been organizing for some time a professional development workshop in the field of Italian language. As part of the evening of June 21, the following artists, accompanied on the piano by the maestro Giancarlo Scalia, will compete for traditional works:
