To celebrate the European Day of Languages, Lisez l’Europe, in collaboration with the Centre de langues and the Department of Literatures and Languages of the World at the Université de Montréal, invites you to celebrate the 14th edition of the European Day of Languages in Montréal.
Free mini-language courses will be offered in Abenaki, German, Catalan (Roussillon), Haitian Creole, Franco-Provençal (Valdostan), Italian, Ladin, Picard, Portuguese, and Valoc’.

The European Day of Languages provides an opportunity to celebrate the linguistic richness of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. It is a chance to celebrate all the languages spoken across Europe, including those of non-European origin that are used every day throughout the continent.
