At the initiative of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal and the publishing house Lison Lescarbeau, the presentation of the book Les femmes de bois by Camilla Sironi (Éditions au carré © 2023) will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal.
The journalist Claudia Larochelle will host the event. The author of the book, Camilla Sironi, will be present.
Published by Éditions au Carré, the novel Les femmes de bois by Camilla Sironi tells the story of the meeting between an Italian artist and a Quebec traveler on an island in Sardinia. The birth of their improbable friendship will provoke in them a reconquest of themselves and of the world.
Italian and French by origin, Camilla Sironi has lived in Quebec for over fifteen years. Mother of two young children and social entrepreneur, she is passionate about literature. Les femmes de bois is her second novel.
