The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Academy of Arts and Crafts of the Teatro alla Scala offer two distinct types of scholarships for the academic year 2020-2021.
The first offer concerns 8 scholarships of 9 months each for young foreign opera singers who have successfully passed the first year of the specialization course in opera organized by the Academy.The scholarships, each for a monthly amount of 900 €, effective from January 1st, 2021.
The second offer is 9 scholarships for a Master degree in “Performing Arts Management”, the notice will remain open until September 15th, for candidates from non-EU countries and until September 28th for candidates from EU countries. October 1st is the deadline to apply for the scholarship offered by MAECI. The 9 scholarships, each with a monthly amount of € 900, will have a duration of 6 months starting from January 1st 2021. The Master in question aims to prepare high-level professionals with specific managerial and economic skills for the world of live entertainment.

Both the scholarship holders of the Master and those of the specialization course in opera singing will have to independently have an insurance policy against illness and accidents.
