Anna Rinaldin intends to give some food for thought on the Italian used by young people thanks to some examples. It is a complex variety that touches some of the main phenomena of the language considered as a whole, such as network communication, dialectisms, forestry, without forgetting the strong identity function. Branded is the innovative trait of this language, an unstoppable hotbed of new words: boomer - one of the most famous forestryisms of today - is registered among the Neologisms of Treccani starting from 2020. Some words were lucky, others less: those lucky they remained and enriched the national language.

Anna Rinaldin was trained at the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice. Today she is an associate professor in Italian Linguistics at the Pegaso Telematic University. Her study focus on lexicology and lexicography (nineteenth-century dictionaries of language and synonyms, political lexicon, sectoral Italian, editing for historical and etymological dictionaries), nineteenth-century linguistic history (Niccolò Tommaseo poet translator, educator, journalist), author archives (Ernesto Calzavara, Ugo Fasolo, Pier Maria Pasinetti, Paolo Zolli), vulgar and Venetian dialects (in Italy and outside Italy: Venetian «de là da mar», dialectisms, dialectal poetry, dictionaries of the Venetian), edition of texts ( in print: Tommaseo, Calzavara; manuscripts: letters from merchants of the fourteenth century), didactics of Italian (in particular vocabulary and linguistic varieties).

The Week of the Italian Language in the World is an initiative to promote the Italian language that the cultural and diplomatic network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organizes every year on a theme that serves as a guiding thread for conferences, exhibitions, shows, meetings. with writers and personalities.

The organization is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, by the Accademia della Crusca and, abroad, by the Italian Cultural Institutes, by the Italian Consulates, by the chairs of Italian Studies active at the various Universities, by the Company's Committees.
