Contributions for the ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION of ITALIAN LANGUAGE CHAIRS at foreign universities, intended to fully or partially cover the salaries of teachers hired directly by the universities under local law contracts.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: NO LATER THAN MARCH 6, 2026
To submit the application, you must go in person to the Italian Cultural Institute, 1200 Dr. Penfield, Montreal, QC, H3A 1A9, and present the original documents, or send them by courier.
1) Request letter and justification from the university institution (maximum one page), including a brief explanation of the reasons for the request, written on official university letterhead, signed by the academic head and bearing the university stamp; FAC SIMILE
2) ALLEGATO A CAP 2619/2 E.F. 2026, application form for the contribution;
3) ALLEGATO B CAP 2619/2 E.F. 2026, final report on the use of the most recent contribution received, if applicable, for the establishment and operation of Italian language chairs in 2025 or during the previous five-year period 2020–2024.
Note: Submission of the final report is an essential condition for the granting and disbursement of the contribution..
