In this sumptuously beautiful film, the Theresia Youth Baroque Orchestra accompanies Galatea Ranzi, who lends her voice to Giacomo Casanova as he works on the translation of the opera Zoroastre.

Gianni Di Capua is an Italian filmmaker that has produced several programs for Italian television (RAI), as well as films on contemporary music and theatre. His first documentary Respiri, Silenzi… altri Ascolti was presented at the Venice Film Festival in 1995. Numerous productions on the performing arts and music followed. He also teaches film studies at the Cà Foscari University of Venice and works with the Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo, an institution that promotes film culture in Italy.
