Women of Porto Pim by Teatro Gioco Vita is a ballad for actors and shadows based on Antonio Tabucchi’s short story. It is a tribute to a writer for whom writing is “something that involves desires, dreams and imagination.”
Here then, in the adaptation by Fabrizio Montecchi, who takes care of its direction and scenes, it is the writer himself, embodied by actor-manipulator Tiziano Ferrari, who tells this story of love and death, who leads us, through his own testimony made of words, gestures, and evocations, on this brief journey into the mystery of the human soul, in a performance that combines modernity and the tradition of shadow theater. Music by Alessandro Nidi, lighting Davide Rigodanza and photography Serena Groppelli.
