The Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal is pleased to announce that this year, Matteo Berton Italian illustrator, thanks to the support of the Institute, will participate at the 31st edition of the Festival Québec BD. This year presented within 8 days, from April 7 to April 15th, the 31st edition of the Festival Québec BD will mark its anniversary on a grand scale with an extremely generous and varied programming. The oldest event of its kind in Canada, the Festival Québec BD will be present in 30 venues in the Capital, hosting exhibitions, shows, screenings and activities associated with the event.
Matteo Berton is an illustrator from Pisa. He creates illustrations for magazines and advertising as well as for children’s books. He lives in Bologna. His work has been awarded by the Society of Illustrators in New York and selected by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Journey to the center of the Earth is his first comic book.
