As part of Aires Libres 2019 the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with Chromatic and the Galerie blanc are proud to present the iconic Italian duo Pierpaolo Ferrari and Maurizio Cattelan.
Pierpaolo Ferrari co-founder of the irreverent Toilet Paper magazine, has become known for his devastating humor and quirky universe, oscillating between retro, pop and trompe-l’oeil. He became an icon in photography, graphic design and art direction, Pierpaolo Ferrari will participate at the festival Chromatic (Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Usine C, 1345 avenue Lalonde) speaking about his career and the reasons that led him to work with Maurizio Cattelan as well as the co-founder of Toilet Paper. He will also discuss about his relationship to art and his photographic practice, the professional bounds he has forged throughout his career, as well as his inspirations and future projects.
The exhibition Toiletpaper (Maurizio Cattelan & Pierpaolo Ferrari) will be presented at the Galery blanc for Aires Libres 2019, Friday May 10 until Friday may 17th 2019, at 6pm – 1115 St. Catherine E.
