The trio, whose name derives from the fusion of the Anglo-Saxon words double bass and vibes (vibraphone), re-paints in an intimate and innovative way some of the most beautiful masterpieces of the American songbook with the intent to bring the freshness and spontaneity of jazz and bossa nova to the melodic research typical of Italian culture, giving light to a harmony of changing colors and emotions thanks to the refined combination of the two unique instruments mixed with percussion. He will be accompained by some great names of the Canadian jazz scene, who will enhance the music of the Italian composer.

Giovanni Perin (1987, Padua, Italy) started playing the piano at the age of eight. After a rich international training, in 2006 he began to specialize in the study of vibraphone and marimba. From 2010 to 2015 Giovanni resides in Berlin, a city that will mark him both artistically and humanly getting the diploma in vibraphone and marimba Bachelor of jazz Music at the prestigious University of Arts in Berlin. He has played and recorded with many musicians of international calibre and has also won numerous Italian and international jazz competitions. He has participated in numerous national and European radio and television programmes and has also been invited to many important jazz festivals. Giovanni has held masterclasses dedicated to vibraphone/marimba and improvisation on percussion keyboards in many Italian and foreign conservatories including Instambul, Camberra Sidney, Melbourne, Delaware (Ireland) just to name the most famous.
