The simple name of the Borgias made people tremble, but their reputation was enormously exaggerated. Their history falls under the corrupt “tradition” of the popes and the Renaissance. Sexual scandals, blood, incest and nepotism; such was the trail left throughout history by this dynasty of popes from Spain. The fabulous family drama unfolds on a disturbing and prestigious stage: the Rome of the Renaissance and the Italy of clashes between rival powers.
Three guitars concert with Thierry Bégin-Lamontagne, Karl Marino and Jérôme Duchare; work of Gaspar Sanz, Paolo Foscarini, Claudio Monteverdi, Dances Traditional.
