We’re pleased to invite you to meet Pierfrancesco Favino at the Italian cultural institute! Favino is one of the leading actors in the contemporary Italian movie scene, and he will be in Montreal for the premiere of his film Last night of Amore.
During this evening, moderated by journalist Vittoria Zorfini, the public will have the opportunity to interact with the actor in a question-and-answer session.

Pierfrancesco Favino is an Italian actor, voice actor, and producer. During his career, he has won three David di Donatello, five Nastri d’argento, two Globi d’oro, three Ciak d’oro and a Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival, and a Maschera del Teatro Italiano, for his theatrical work. He has taken part in numerous film and theater productions in Italy and abroad, becoming one of the most prominent contemporary Italian actors. To cite but a few of his movies, he acted in The Hummingbird by Francesca Archibugi, Hammamet Gianni Amelio, The Traitor by Marco Bellocchio, Saturn in Opposition by de Ferzan Özpetek, Suburra by Stefano Sollima, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian by Andrew Adamson, Miracle at St. Anna by Spike Lee.
Vittoria Zorfini started covering domestic politics and news in Rome in 2010, until she moved to Canada where she is currently editor for the magazine Panoram Italia. In addition to the print media, she has developed the radio project Genio Vagante in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and with the Italian radio station in Montreal, CFMB1280 where she works as a journalist in its current affairs program Le Mattine con Vittoria and during the historic program Buon Pomeriggio on Mondays and Fridays.
