On the occasion of the current exhibition at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, CCA, The Lives of Documents – Photography as Project, curated by Bas Princen and Stefano Graziani and the exhibition The waste land in the headquarters of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, where the conference Photography as Project will be held.
Francesco Garutti (Associate Director Programs at the CCA), Stefano Graziani and the photographer Alessio Pellicoro, author of the The waste land project, will intervene during the meeting. The discussion will allow us to explore the role of photography in the field of architecture and how contemporary photography is a means to question and interpret the mechanisms that are shaping our visible world.
During the conference, two video contributions dedicated to the famous photographers Gabriele Basilico and Guido Guidi will also be proposed, whose works are part of the exhibition The Lives of Documents – Photography as Project.
