Thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute, the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP) is pleased to announce the 6th edition of the Rossini Opera Academy, under the direction of revered mezzo soprano and 2018 Olivier winner Daniela Barcellona, with the assistance of Maestros Alessandro Vitiello and Michele D’Elia.

The course is open to young professional singers, collaborating pianists and Rossini scholars; the outline includes theoretical seminars, vocal interpretation seminars, and rehearsals leading up to the concert performance of excerpts from “Semiramide” as well as a shortened version of “La cambiale di matrimonio”. The program will conclude with a gala concert with Daniela Barcelona and young artists from the academy.
