Mezzo Forte’s augmented concert is based on an ecological approach to augmented reality sound. The listening experience is enriched by a transparent use of electronics, in respect and fusion with the environment and acoustic instruments. The concert provides for a binaural distribution system by bone conduction headphones, exclusively reserved for electronic materials, while the instruments are broadcast differently: the public lives an experience of augmented acoustic reality, wearing headphones that do not close the auditory canal, and which therefore make it possible to naturally listen to the surrounding sounds at the same time as those coming from the headphones.

The musical program takes place over four pieces for solo instrument and electronic composed by Mathieu Corajod, Giovanni Montiani, Tomàs Peire Serrate and Francesco Canfailla. These pieces were selected from among the creations of the composers participating in the master’s degree in composition with electronics during the tenth edition of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris) and Marco Liuni, (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique / Musique – IRCAM – Paris).
