The evening program will consist an unpublished piece by the Odawa composer Barbara Assiginaak, Inscription Rock Mazhenaabikiniganing Aagawong, which will be followed by the work of Frederic Rzewski, 36 Variations on “The People United Will Never Be Defeated” a magnificent piece of more than an hour.

Among others: OSN of Rai, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari, Rotterdam Philharmonic, MDR Leipzig, Brucknerorchester Linz, Philharmonic of St. Petersburg, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Amici della Musica of Florence, Unione Musicale of Turin, IUC of Rome, Bologna Festival, Venice Biennale, MITO, Wien Modern, Berliner Festtwochen, RedCats in Los Angeles. Furthermore, he collaborates with conductors such as Roberto Abbado, John Axelrod, Andrei Boreyko, Dennis Russell Davies, Diego Fasolis, Wayne Marshall, James MacMillan, Juraj Valchua. He also performs regularly with the actress Sonia Bergamasco.
He holds the principal piano chair at the “Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, teaches at the Accademia di Pinerolo where he coordinates the two-year postgraduate course in contemporary piano, and is a guest professor at numerous universities in the United States.
