Concert in Catalan, Spanish and Italian at the Maison de la culture de Côte-des-neiges, at 7:30 p.m. Sept chansons brings together actress and singer Valérie Gagné and composer and guitarist Caroline Planté around various traditional repertoires and poetry in music.
It was while working on pieces in Catalan, Italian and Spanish that their project was born: to make arrangements for voice and guitar of poems set to music and record them. To tell a story of dreams, forgetting and the sea. A multilingual musical evening to mark the 12th edition of the European Day of Languages in Montreal. The evening will end with a fun quiz on the linguistic and cultural diversity of the metropolis.
