The pines of Rome & famous italian film soundtracks

In the framework of the ITALIAN FESTIVAL, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, presents: THE PINES OF ROME & FAMOUS ITALIAN FILM SOUNDTRACKS.

What do the movies The Godfather, La Dolce Vita and Once Upon a Time in the West have in common? Their soundtracks were written by two of the most renowned composers in the history of film: Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota. Performed on the organ, these popular favorites will join forces with two of Respighi’s symphonic poems to zip you straight to the heart of Rome.

Thursday March 16 – 7:30pm
