Known as powerful bankers and their position of great intelligence in the political scene of Florence, the Medici is also famous for being generous patrons. During this period, they were considered by the Florentines as part of the political landscape of Florence and its history. The Sir continuously appeared in public and knew how to enchant the ordinary citizens. At the time no one dared to call him “The Magnificent“, but was considered generous and devoted to please his people. Often the festive city would forget the abuses and did not think that at the time when the additional entertainments were being offered. The TRIUMPHS, the FLOATS and the LIVING SQUARE were then indispensable to the magnificence of the Magnificent that the people wanted to see wrapped up in glory to fear him and admire him.
