At the foot of Vesuvius, the celebration of Our-Lady-of-the-Hens is still tinged with paganism. While Fonzino prepares a ritual altar, Biagio leads the femminielli, the transgender masters of a cult where dance and song have a cathartic energy.
Elisa Flaminia Inno created the production company 15Zerosei in Italy. She has directed several short films aired on television, as well as video clips. She holds a degree in Cinema in Rome and a Diploma as Camera Operator. She worked as a filmmaker for many companies. In 2009 she was selected for the Documentary Programme as Director by INIS – Institut National de l’Image et du son, in Montreal, with the direction of Colette Loumede. She worked in the film industry as producer and directed music promos, documentaries for TV and feauture documentaries shown at many festivals in Europe and Canada. Her last work is Pagans (2016), a creative documentary about the ancient pagan cult of the virgin Mary in the area of Pompei.
