Fabio Scotto at the 34th edition of the International Poetry Festival in Trois-Rivières

Thanks to the support of the Italian Institute of Culture of Montreal, the International Festival of Poetry of Trois-Rivières, presents a meeting with the author and scholar Fabio Scotto.

The Festival will take place from 28 September to 7 October 2018

Fabio Scotto (La Spezia, 1959) is a poet and professor of French Literature at the University of Bergamo, where he is currently President of the Degree Course in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures. He co-directs the Bibliographic Review “Novecento e XXI secolo” of “Studi francesi” (Rosenberg & Sellier) and directs the series “Saggi CISAM” (Cisalpino). He is the author of essay works on Diderot, Bernard Noël, the poetic fragment, the translation of poetry and rhythm. He directed Cahier Yves Bonnefoy of the magazine “Europe” (n°890-891, 2003) and edited, among others, the book The poetic work of Yves Bonnefoy (Meridiani Mondadori, 2010) and the anthology New French poets (Einaudi, 2011). He has also edited and translated works by Hugo, Vigny, Villiers de l’Isle Adam, Apollinaire, Noël, Bonnefoy and is the author of ten poetry collections, translated into various languages.
