Three crucial moments shape the life of the celebrated Sardinian writer Grazia Deledda: the unexpected arrival of her mother from Nuoro, the hours leading up to her receiving the most prestigious literary prize in the world, and the moments when a doctor looks into her eyes, searching for words that might make the pain easier to bear.
Between these three moments unfolds the life of the only Italian woman to have won the Nobel Prize in Literature. Through a sensitive portrayal of her life, the film also explores the relationship between women and literature, as well as contemporary issues surrounding the status of women.
It is not possible to make multiple reservations with the same email address.
