The Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal present the photographic exhibition:”The oasis of Lugana: the soul of Zenato among old vines and colorful culinary traditions“.
A story through images of the land of Lugana, the world of Catullo and Petrarca, the small lake of Frassino with its magical lights, Peschiera with its solid walls overlooking Lake Garda and the golden vineyards as far as the eye can see. A scrupulous and convincing reconstitution of the facts and characters that, since Roman times, have succeeded each other on this earth, a place of encounter and confrontation between men and armies, merchants and pilgrims, popes and princes. Over the past 50 years, Trebbiano di Lugana, an autochthonous grape variety that started as a simple farmer’s table wine, has established itself throughout the world and represents the excellence of Italian food production.
The project “The oasis of Lugana: the soul of Zenato among old vines and colorful culinary traditions“, in order to celebrate Lugana’s territory, highlighting the historical heritage, the beauty of the landscape and the culture of wine, with which Peschiera del Garda is inseparable.
“We thought we would devote a book to this land that is so dear to us – says Nadia Zenato – because when we bring our wines to the world, not only do we promote our labels, but we also want to share the emotions and the beauty of this land“
