Italian gastronomy has always emerged from great acclaim throughout the world. Therefore, the huge success of the Italian Cuisine Week, realized for the first time in 2016, is not surprising.
Conferences, tastings, gala dinners, cooking classes, concerts and exhibitions related to the cuisine have animated in every country the Embassies, Consulates, Italian Cultural Institutes and other selected locations. Throughout the week hundreds of Italian restaurants abroad have proposed ad hoc menus to let the world know the best of Italian food and wine.
Owing to the overwhelming success, the Italian Government raises in 2018, the III Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, an initiative implemented by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Agriculture, of Education, University and Research and Economic Development. The intent is to enhance the Italian culinary tradition in the world, as one of the distinctive signs of the Italian brand.
