It all begins in Sicily, on the day Tonio, the son of Léonce, King of the Bears, is kidnapped by hunters. Taking advantage of a harsh winter that threatens his subjects with starvation, King Léonce decides to set out in search of Tonio and invade the plains where humans live. With the help of his army and a magician, he eventually finds Tonio and takes control of the country. But he soon realizes that the bear people may not be meant to live in the land of men.

Following the screening, we invite everyone—kids and adults alike—to take part in the activity Traces. On a large sheet of paper, using coloured markers, let your imagination run free as you create stories and worlds inspired by the universe of the film The Bears’ Famous Invasion of Sicily. All the drawings created during this activity will become traces of your presence among us.
