Liana Cusmano’s 22-minute fim, Matters of Great Unimportance, explores cultural heritage, gender identity, mental health and interpersonal relationships. Two friends are in love with the same woman. Neither belongs to the right social class. A story about struggling to be accepted and letting go of other people’s standards and expectations.
