Gesuino Nemus, Italian writer, at the 21st edition of Blue Metropolis Festival

The Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal is pleased to announce the presence of Gesuino Nemus, Italian writer, at the 21th edition of Metropolis Bleu.

Gesuino Nemus, with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, will be one of the highlights at the Blue Metropolis Festival in Montreal for the events dedicated to contemporary Italian literature.

Here is the week schedule for the Festival:

Saturday May 4

11am Hotel 10 (Salle Jardin) 10 Sherbrooke West
Racisme, antiracisme et autocensure?
Racism is increasingly denounced for what it is: a virulent form of stupidity and injustice. But this necessary stand provoked a counter-speech, the politically correct, which can lead to self-censorship, say its detractors. Where to stop? Writers’ reply.
Ticket sales for this event will be shared equally by the Montreal City Mission and Bienvenue Collective, both organizations dedicated to welcoming immigrants and refugees.

*****

Sunday May 5

*****

12:30pm Hotel 10 (Salle Godin) 10 Sherbrooke West
In the course of its history, the West has often opposed culture and nature. Why ? Is it really justified? Examples and counterexamples taken from the literature.
