Pagliacci by Ruggiero Leoncavallo

Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at 9pm
Boulevard St-Laurent

Written and composed in 1892 by Ruggiero Leoncavallo, “Pagliacci”, which means “clowns”, is a two-act opera that reflects actors’ difficulty in being able to remove themselves from their troubled personal lives while acting on stage. The opera will feature several local and international artists from Italy and the symphony orchestra is led by Italy’s maestro Gianluca Martinenghi. A free outdoor opera that is certainly not to be missed!
