The NEST PROJECT envisioning an habitable sculpture for interspecies coexistence

NEST

An informal talk with internationally renowned Italian artist Gola Hundun and project producer & co-author Fabio Dellabartola on the benefits of conscious coexistence between humans, birds and plants.

Exceptionally, Gola will be in Montreal for the first chapter of The Nest project (from 1 to 15 September) to create a new mural complemented by a community-driven workshop, all supported by MU, non-profit organization that creates meaningful murals in Montreal communities.

Appointment is on Monday september 8th – 6 pm at the Italian Cultural Institute in Montreal, and the conversation will be in English.

The occasion will provide an exceptional opportunity to interact with the artist and know more about his poetic approach to researching a common language between humans and all other living beings, animated by Laura Vigo (Curator, MMFA), with the participation of Elizabeth Ann-Doyle (General and Artistic Director, MU) and David M. Bird (wildlife biologist, author, and Emeritus Professor at McGill University).
