“Estate all’italiana Festival“: an exclusive tour which, in 10 weeks, presents for an international audience, some of the shows from the 2020 calendar of Italian festivals. A great showcase for promoting – thanks to the network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes abroad – cultural enterprises, artists and the unique beauty of the Italian cultural landscape.
The initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of support measures for cultural enterprises and the international revival of Italy, emphasizing the country’s deep vocation for culture, entertainment and beauty.
Thanks to the collaboration of the Associazione ItaliaFestival, the major events of the summer constitute a program of the highest level, be it theater, dance and music performances. These events cover the entire national territory with the Puccini Festival in Viareggio, the Ravenna Festival, the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia, the Valle d’Itria Festival, the Emilia Romagna Festival, Borgate dal vivo in Piedmont, Festival Internazionale di mezza estate de Tagliacozzo in Abruzzo, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the Opera Estate Festival in Bassano del Grappa, Armonie d’arte in Calabria and the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
