On 22 August, in the cavea of the Greek Theater of Syracuse, Isabella Ragonese will be “Chrysothemis” by Ghiannis Ritsos.

Written shortly after Ajax, during his captivity following the coup d’état by the Greek colonels (1967), Ristos’ Chrysothemis follows in the footsteps of the character created by Sophocles in “Electra”, two thousand four hundred years earlier.
Ragonese’s voice will dialogue with Teho Teardo’s live music, directed by Fabrizio Arcuri, played by Giovanna Famulari and Laura Bisceglia (cello).
