As a result of the formation of bilateral and multilateral agreements between the "Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale" and various other countries, Scholarships are offered to non-Italian citizens by Italy and to Italian citizens by other countries. The general regulations, which affect this matter are contained in the official site of the "Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale".

The Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System (Uff. VIII) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) makes contributions to encourage the carrying out of missions by researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and operators in Italy and abroad cultural Italians or foreigners.

SAUVÉ SCHOLAR

You are a Sauvé Scholar if you have initiative, motivation, imagination, communication skills, a keen interest in international and domestic issues, a burning desier to effect change, and the will and skill to be a global leader.

If you have :
- Completed your undergraduated education or the equivalent (advanced degrees are welcome but not required)
- A record of accomplishment and ability to meet challenges
- Demostrated leadership qualities
- Proven communication skills
- A highly developped curiosity about people, problems and cultures
- A strong interest in both international and domestic issues
- A cagerness to change the world for the better
- A minimum of 3 years of work or other professinal experiences, at least two of which are full time
