The Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to offer to the Montreal public the opportunity to listen to the Italian pianist Filippo Gorini for an exceptional performance. As part of its 14th annual edition, the Montreal Bach Festival will present a recital of JS Bach's last masterpiece, The Art of Fugue, performed by the critically acclaimed young Italian pianist, Filippo Gorini, live from the National Cinema Museum of Turin, in Italy.

Filippo Gorini's concert will be broadcasted live from Italy on the brand new specialized transmission platform created by the Bach-Académie of Montréal, Sunday November 29th at 2.30 pm (20.30 Rome) from the National Cinema Museum in Turin, allowing spectators from all over the world to enjoy his performance in the comfort of their own homes.

Filippo Gorini - Winner in 2015 of the “Telekom-Beethoven” competition in Bonn, at the age of only twenty-four, he is one of the most interesting talents of his generation.

Created in 2005, the Montréal Bach Festival, now in its 14th year, has established itself as the premier North American destination for interpreting the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries.
