Festival of Classic Reloaded, the classics conquering the web

The classics conquering the web: for a whole week on the website, on the social networks and on the YouTube channel of the Circolo dei Lettori foundation, lessons, dialogues and readings will follow one another to illuminate today's reflection with yesterday's thoughts. It is the Festival of Classic Reloaded which is presented in a completely renewed version.

The third edition, from November 29th to December 4th, will live a second life, all digital. The Festival of Classic Reloaded, an event that recharges itself with new energy to go even further, involving a truly boundless community of enthusiasts and curious minds.

COMPLETE PROGRAM

The Festival of Classic Reloaded, chaired by Luciano Canfora and curated by Ugo Cardinale, is a project of the Circolo dei lettori di Torino Foundation, created with the support of the Piedmont Region and the Cassa di Risparmio di Torino Foundation, with the patronage of City of Turin and in collaboration with the MAECI. This year the Festival is dedicated to the theme "Homo sive nature, war, peace, disease in the spiral of history".

First guest Abraham Yehoshua, Israeli writer and playwright, with a lecture from War and peace in the Jewish culture, Friday November 27th. From the United States, on the other hand, precisely from Princeton University in New Jersey, Melissa Lane, Professor of Politics and director of the University Center for Human Values, will connect on Sunday, November 29th. Mary Norris, connected from New York, is the writer and copy editor of the cult periodical The New Yorker, famous for her articles on writing and punctuation that earned her the nickname Comma Queen, Friday December 4th.
