Exhibition: “Utopie Radicali. Florence 1966-1976”.

From May 1 to October 7, 2018, the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) hosts “Utopie Radicali. Florence 1966-1976” an exhibition produced and organized by Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, in collaboration with the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) and the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, which celebrates the extraordinary Florentine creative season of the radical movement between the 1960s and 1970s twentieth century.

Organized by Palazzo Strozzi in collaboration with the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) and the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal and curated by Pino Brugellis, Gianni Pettena and Alberto Salvadori, the exhibition brings together the work of Archizoom, Superstudio, 9999, UFO, Zzigurat, Remo Buti and Gianni Pettena, iconoclast practitioners who made Florence a focal point for new developments in architectural thought. Material from the CCA’s Alessandro Poli archive plays a prominent role in the exhbition.
