Thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montréal, the Festival International de la Littérature Montréal presents an extraordinary literary concert:: “LÀ D’OÙ JE VIENS, DARLING !” Author and interpreter Claudio Pozzani.

Saturday September 23rd 2017 – 8pm
Place des Arts
Cinquième Salle
Tickets

At the heart of this show there are the words of the Belarussian writer Svetlana Aleixievitch, Nobel Prize for Literature in 2015, interpreted by the actress Sophie Desmarais. Also Madeleine Gagnon, Tania Langlais, Claudio Pozzani and Violaine Forest contributed to the screenwriting. Throughout the night important issues such as war, exile, dispossession and filiation will be mentioned, together with more reassuring subjects, i.e. hope and humanity. It will definitely be a highly emotional show, inviting people to immerse themselves in reality as in a Tarkovski’s movie.

Claudio Pozzani was born in Genoa in 1961. He is a poet, a novelist and an artist. He is well-known for participating in many international poetry festivals in Europe, in Latin America and in Asia. His poems have been translated into several languages. Also, Pozzani has been organizing since 1995 the Poetry Festival of Genoa as well as tons of other arts and culture events in Europe.
