This original program invites you to use Italian in real and inspiring situations: commenting on lesser-known historical sites in Rome, discussing paintings at the Uffizi Gallery, recreating the atmosphere of a caf\u00e9 in Naples, or meeting in Venice during Carnival. Each session concludes with the reading of a scene from modern Italian theater. No prior theater experience is required; sessions are playful and open to everyone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Period:<\/strong>\u00a0May 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0 \u2192 Juin 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frequency<\/strong>: Thursday from 2:30 p.m. \u2013 4:30 p.m.; in person<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Marinella Montanari<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>An artist and educator specializing in theater, Marinella Montanari has been based in Montreal since 2020. She combines international experience in performing arts and cultural management, using theater as a tool for language learning and social interaction. She integrates her skills in dubbing and vocal techniques to enrich cultural discovery.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Musical Awakening Workshop (for children 0 to 6 years of age)\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u201cO mio bambino caro\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Offer your child a unique and enchanting musical awakening experience with Silvia Buttiglione, cellist and teacher. This one-hour workshop invites young children to discover the richness of Italian music through play, singing, and movement, while stimulating their psychomotor development and curiosity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program:<\/strong>\u00a0greeting and free play, Italian songs and nursery rhymes, exploration of works by Rossini and Puccini, movement and dance, active listening, percussion instrument exploration, and a relaxing moment to gently close the workshop.<br \/>\n<strong>Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0development of rhythm, coordination, and language skills in a warm and nurturing atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a01 hour per workshop, total of 3 hours<br \/>\n<strong>Period:<\/strong>\u00a0May 2nd, 9th, and 16th, 2026<br \/>\n<strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a0Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in person<br \/>\n<strong>Instructor:<\/strong>\u00a0Silvia Buttiglione, violinist and teacher<br \/>\n<strong>For who:<\/strong>\u00a0Children from 3 months to 6 years of age<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0A parent or guardian must be present for the entire workshop.\u00a0<strong>Registration is for all three sessions.<\/strong>\u00a0The language used will be adapted depending on the participants.<\/p>\n<p><em>Silvia Buttiglione is an educator and performer, recipient of the Royal Conservatory Teacher of Distinction Award. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Her work covers a diverse repertoire, from early music to contemporary works.
